School Nurse

Hello, my name is Keria Johnson. I am excited to join ACA as the school’s first nurse! Our family has been a part of ACA since 2015 and have appreciated the Christ-centered education for our three kids. I have been a nurse for 15 years. Prior to becoming a nurse, I worked in clinic settings and worked with children and adults with autism, developmental delays, and mental illnesses.

When I was seven, I attended a VBS where I heard the Gospel and first learned of my sin and separation from God. I accepted Jesus as my Savior. Over the years, my family went to church off and on. In high school, I had a youth pastor and great friends who encouraged me in my walk with Christ.

My faith was becoming my own as I grew to know Jesus, His love for me and the world. My husband and I serve the Lord together through involvement with missions, our church, and raising our kids under the authority of the Bible. I am mesmerized that the Creator of the world, the Savior of sinners, the King of kings, the Healer, the Comforter, the All-knowing, All-present, GOD desires us (sinners!) to know Him, love Him, and worship Him for our benefit and HIS glory! “You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.” Psalm 86: 5. “Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.” Psalm 86:8-12.
